Vision & mission

MYMARINI includes a team of confident water enthusiasts with a clear vision: we aim to become the globally leading sustainable designer swimwear brand, defining new standards in ethics, aesthetics and quality.

Our mission is to achieve a long-term positive impact on society and the environment with sustainably produced designer swimwear. We protect water as a vital resource and ensure access to safe water sources. We want to empower people who identify as female in their bodies and in society. Together we are creating a movement that promotes self-awareness, conscious consumption and the protection of water.

From a dream to reality

In this video, we share what drives us — and how an idea became a company. We’ll show you where it all began, what matters most to us, how we work, and why we do what we do. A glimpse behind the scenes for anyone who wants to get to know us a little better.

Committed to a better future

At MYMARINI, we believe that fashion brands can — and must — take responsibility. Becoming a certified B Corp affirms this commitment and makes our founding values more visible to the world. It’s proof that we meet high social, ecological, and economic standards.

For us, this certification wasn’t a new beginning — it was a natural next step. It was a continuation of what has always defined us as a company: fair wages, responsible production, and deep respect for people and nature. The certification process encouraged us to act even more consciously, in every decision we make and at every point along our value chain. With a score of 95.2 points, we’ve shown that sustainable business practices, fairness, and environmental awareness are deeply rooted in our DNA and continue to drive us forward.

Because becoming a B Corp is not a finish line; it’s a promise. A promise to keep learning, to ask questions, and to find new solutions. MYMARINI stands for swimwear that meets strict standards in ethics, aesthetics, sustainability, and design. And together with our community, we’re shaping a future where companies are part of the solution.

Water stewardship

The MYMARINI Forest

In cooperation with Klimapatenschaft GmbH, we support the local forest reforestation project in the Klövensteen Forest — a big step toward the long-term goal of becoming groundwater neutral. 2023 marked the finish line of planting 30.000 trees in total in our name, which will generate 6.000.000 l groundwater per year.

Girls Surf Camp

Making a difference - in people's lives and for the future of the planet. This is our mission. That's why we are happy to have a partnership with the Hamburg-based association THE SOCIAL SURF CLUB e.V. Founded by Kim Bartel in 2013 the association organizes free surf camps in Denmark for children in difficult situations.

FEMNET e.V.

We support FEMNET e.V., an organization that supports women's rights in the global garment industry with political commitment, educational and advisory work and a solidarity fund. This collaboration is particularly near and dear to MYMARINI, as our textile production partners employ a large number of women. We provide financial donations to FEMNET to support them in carrying out their profoundly important work.

What characterizes MYMARINI

MYMARINI was born out of love for nature, surfing and the sea. In 2012, founder and designer Mareen Albright decided to take time out from her life back home to travel and dedicate herself to surfing. Find out what happened next and learn more about our philosophy.
