Frequently Asked Questions
Shipping & Returns
The payment option "Bank Deposit" means that we can ship your order as recently as we receive your payment. Unfortunately, you cannot choose both "bank deposit" and "DHL express delivery" for your order, as these two options are mutually exclusive in our system. You can send us your transfer form to service@mymarini.com so that we can make sure to guarantee you a fast delivery.
At MYMARINI, sustainability and mindful use of resources are deeply important to us. That’s why we charge a €4 fee for each return. Our aim here is to highlight that shipping items back and forth not only incurs costs and manual effort, but also places a burden on the environment. We believe it’s important to make these impacts visible — and to encourage more conscious consumption.
To help you avoid returns or placing large orders to try many styles on, our Customer Care Team is happy to help you find the right style and size: service@mymarini.com.
If you're returning your MYMARINI from Germany or Austria, you can use our returns portal. Simply log in with your order number (e.g. ON12345) and email address to generate a return label — allowing you to send your return back to us free of charge.
Returns must be made within 14 days. All items must be unworn, unwashed, in original condition, and include all tags. Once your return has arrived and been processed, we will refund the purchase amount to your original payment method.
Our returns portal is not available for returns from outside Germany and Austria. Please send your MYMARINI to the following address:

Sizing & Styles
Each MYMARINI colorway fits slightly differently. Lighter colors tend to be a bit softer and therefore more stretchy, while darker shades — such as black or navy — are less stretchy and may feel slightly tighter as a result.
If you’re between two sizes, we recommend choosing the larger size for darker colors and the smaller size for lighter ones.
If an item or your size is sold out, it doesn’t necessarily mean it won’t be restocked. You can sign up for an email notification for all items we plan to produce again.
If this option is not available, it means we will no longer be producing that item — and it won't be restocked.
Yes. Our styles are made entirely from textile — we deliberately avoid underwires, cups, or clasps.
Thoughtful cuts and our high-quality, supportive material still provide reliable hold and a comfortable fit.
In our online shop, you can filter specifically for styles with strong support — for example through the categories “Good support” or “Sporty”.
To access what size fits you right you can use our size chart, which you can find in every product. If you are torn between two sizes your height is deciding. If you’re over 175cm we recommend you to choose the bigger one. We also recommend you to choose the bigger size with items in darker colors like black or navy, those are fitting a little smaller.
The MYMARINIS have to fit tight like a second skin. The fabric will relax in the water but doesn’t go baggy.
Many MYMARINIs are very well suited for activities in the water.

Care
Our MYMARINIs are made from a double-layer fabric. This construction provides reliable support, creates the popular mini soft-shape effect, and allows the styles to be reversible.
Because two fabric layers need to dry, it takes a little longer for your MYMARINI to dry completely.
Please always let it dry thoroughly in the air before folding it.
We want you to enjoy your MYMARINI for a long time.
After swimming in salty or chlorinated water, always rinse it thoroughly with clear water. This helps maintain the colors and elasticity.
We also recommend occasionally washing your MYMARINI in the washing machine at a maximum of 30 °C — ideally with an environmentally friendly detergent and a low spin cycle. A laundry bag, such as the Guppy Friend washing bag, can additionally help retain microplastics.
To dry it, simply hang your MYMARINI in the air and avoid direct sunlight.
Special note for MYMARINIs with white fabric:
To keep the white fabric bright for as long as possible, please wash your MYMARINI by hand only. A small amount of shampoo helps remove residues from sunscreen, salt, or chlorine.
You can find more details about caring for your MYMARINI on our HOW TO CARE page.

Take Back program
The MYMARINI Take-Back Program started as a pilot project in 2023 and has since become a permanent part of our comsmitment to more conscious consumption.
Through this program, you can return MYMARINI styles that you no longer wear. After registering your submission through our online form, you send the items back to us.
Once your parcel arrives, you will receive a voucher code for your next purchase as a thank-you.
We initially launched the Take Back Program in order to take ongoing responsibility for the products we manufacture and sell. The program, which is now a permanent service we offer, ensures that our products are not simply discarded and sent to landfills. Instead, they are reused or recycled in the most sustainable way possible.
For hygiene reasons, please ensure that all garments are washed and dried before returning them. Each customer can make one return per year, with no limit on the number of items per return.
You will receive a voucher valued at €30 (for customers in Germany) or €35 (for customers outside Germany and within the EU), regardless of the number of MYMARINIs returned. At this time, we cannot accept Take Back submissions from outside the EU, including Switzerland and the UK.
All MYMARINI items from our previous collections, including swimwear, retreat wear, loungewear, and Beach House items, are eligible for return. Please note that we only accept MYMARINI products and not clothing from other manufacturers. The Take Back Program does not serve as a product return for refund purposes.
The MYMARINI Take Back Program is not the same as our product refund service, so you will not receive a refund for returned items submitted as part of the Take Back Program. Instead, we’ll accept your worn or no longer needed MYMARINI items in order to take responsibility for them and evaluate the best possible reuse or recycling options.
As a thank-you for participating in the program, we’ll cover the shipping costs for customers in Germany and reward your contribution with a €30 MYMARINI voucher for your next purchase.
Customers in other EU countries outside of Germany can also participate, but they must cover the shipping costs themselves. In this case, we’ll provide a €35 voucher as a thank-you.
Currently, we are unable to accept returns from all countries outside the EU, including Switzerland and the UK, due to customs regulations. We are working on finding a future solution and appreciate your understanding.
First consider which MYMARINIs you no longer wear and would like to return. Then register your submission through our online form.
Please make sure that your MYMARINIs are washed before shipping them, as our team checks and sorts the items after they arrive.
Take me to the take back program
Unfortunately, we can only accept MYMARINI items as part of the Take Back Program. We cannot accept clothing from other manufacturers, since we need to ensure we can trace the exact fiber composition and production processes of the garments we collect. This is essential for optimal reuse or recycling.
Additionally, as a small company, our personnel and storage capacities are limited.
We want to keep you updated on the progress of our Take Back Program. Follow us on our social media channels, newsletter, and journal, as well as our Impact Board, where we regularly share information about this and similar projects.
At this time, the Take Back Program is not available through our retailers. We will consider expanding the program in the future once we have gathered sufficient experience and feedback from current participants.
Ecological Footprint
Measuring the environmental impact of products is essential to understand their influence on our environment. By analyzing environmental indicators such as greenhouse gas emissions, water consumption, and land use, we can draw informed conclusions and develop appropriate measures to reduce or offset the negative impacts.
At MYMARINI, the measurement of our environmental impact is carried out by Carbonfact, using the methodology of Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) according to ISO 14040 and the latest PEF-CR guidelines. LCA is a scientific approach to assessing the environmental impacts of products, processes, or services. It relies on environmental indicators that use measurable variables to describe complex environmental issues. These indicators include greenhouse gas emissions, water consumption, land use, and more.
Environmental indicators provide a practical system for monitoring the state of the environment. They are methodological tools that use measurable variables to describe complex environmental issues. Key indicators include greenhouse gas emissions (GHG), water consumption, and land use.
GHG stands for greenhouse gases. These gases absorb and emit infrared radiation within the Earth's wavelength range. Measured in kilograms of CO2 equivalent (Kg CO2-eq), they include gases like carbon dioxide, nitrous oxide, and methane.
Geography and location play an important role. Different power grids and regional variations can significantly influence the final environmental outcomes of a product.
Carbonfact collects data on various aspects, including machine usage, energy mix, water consumption, waste management, and chemicals. The platform tracks different processes along the specific supply chain to determine the inputs and outputs of each step.
Primary data comes directly from the supply chain, while secondary data comes from other sources, such as previous LCA studies or previously collected primary data. Primary data enables a personalized Life Cycle Assessment (LCA).
In case primary data is not provided (or cannot be provided) by the suppliers, Carbonfact fills data gaps by using validated secondary data based on previously collected primary data and published LCAs. The algorithm completes missing data by considering factors such as time, geography, and technology. Continuous data collection ensures the use of current and relevant data specific to the geographic and representative aspects of the processes involved.
The value chain in the fashion industry is divided into four main stages:
- Stage 0: Brand's direct activities, such as stores, warehouses, and offices.
- Stage 1: Manufacturing of garments, including cutting and sewing.
- Stage 2: Preparation and production of sub-components, such as fabrics and ingredients.
- Stage 3: Processing of raw materials, such as yarns.
- Stage 4: Cultivation, production, and extraction of raw materials from the earth, plants, and animals, such as cotton cultivation or extraction of fossil fuels.
