Take Back Update #1

Today we have our first update on our Take Back program for you! The pilot project has been running for three months and we are absolutely thrilled with the positive response. As a sustainable swimwear label, we are taking a step further towards the circular economy together with you.

A total of 63 pieces have already been submitted through our Take Back program. A huge thank you to all of you for your support! It's great to see you actively using the program and even personally stopping by our flagship store in Hamburg to drop off your worn out MYMARINIs. Every contribution counts and we appreciate your efforts to support sustainable practices.

Our warehouse team regularly sorts through the parts received so we can get a better overview for possible reuse options. Reasons for sending in your MYMARINIs are many and varied: mispurchases, the size no longer fits, the colors have lost their luminosity, or the elasticity is no longer as it was on the first day after long use. Likewise, the condition of the submissions varies - from completely worn out to like-new pieces.

We are working in the background to further optimize the processes to get you your shipping label and reward even faster and easier. Your feedback and experiences help us to continuously improve the program.

In parallel, we are researching possible recycling partners to ensure that returned items can be recycled efficiently and sustainably in the future. It is important to us that we create a closed loop and can reuse the materials.

We want to thank you for being part of this groundbreaking project. Together, we are making a real difference in the apparel industry and helping to protect our planet.

Stay tuned for more updates and news about our Take Back program!
