Material composition

Main material:
 82% Polyamide (ECONYL® regenerated nylon yarn)
 18% Elastane

ECONYL® is a regenerated nylon yarn made entirely from pre- and post-consumer waste such as fabric scraps, carpeting, industrial plastics, and fishing nets. The yarn is produced in Slovenia and then processed in Northern Italy with particularly durable elastane into our fabric. Thanks to the high-quality materials and craftsmanship, our fabrics are especially long-lasting and durable. Additionally, all our styles offer a sun protection factor of UPF 50+.

How do our styles offer UPF 50+?

Our swimwear provides reliable protection against UV rays. The UPF 50+ rating is achieved solely through the choice of yarns and the dense fabric construction — no additional finishes or chemical treatments are used.

This means the UV protection is built into the structure of the textile itself, so it won’t wash out over time. Plus, all our fabrics are certified according to OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 and the Global Recycled Standard (GRS). A smart blend of functionality and comfort — just as you expect from MYMARINI.
