For our styles, we use the highest quality fabrics we can find on the market to ensure that each MYMARINI stays beautiful for many years to come. Our main focus when sourcing new materials is on superior materials that are durable and innovative. We make sure that they are free of toxins, are produced fairly and do not pose a threat to nature or other living creatures.

non-natural fibers

Econyl® Nylon Yarn

ECONYL® is a 100% regenerated nylon which is made from nylon waste otherwise polluting the Earth, like fishing nets, fabric scraps, carpet flooring and industrial plastic.

Our Italian production uses the best available technologies and recycles all consumed water several times. 62,3% of the total water consumed is treated and purified so that it can be returned to nature directly. Emissions during fabric production are ten times lower than required by the EU-law. This significantly reduces the impact on our environment.

yarns

Polyester (Recycled)

In 2021, 90.2% of our yarns were GRS-certified, recycled polyester. Our supplier is located in Germany, and the PET for recycling is sourced from Europe.

Polyester (Virgin)

In 2021, 9.8% of our sewing threads were made of pure polyester. Our MYMARINI logo tags are also made from non-recycled materials. The yarns and logo tags are made in Germany.

Natural fibers

Organic Cotton

Our WHITE COTTON and HIDEAWAYS collection are made from organic cotton, grown and harvested in Uganda. There, due to the climatic conditions, it traditionally grows without costly additional irrigation measures.

It’s woven on site, enabling a shorter journey between grower and manufacturer. Both of these processes are GOTS certified. The finishing and dyeing process then takes place in Germany. We chose this fabric because of its wonderful feel. It flows softly around the body and feels light against the skin.
