Water, waves, wind and a positive outlook on life were the deciding factors for Mareen to start a surf and swimwear label in 2013. But not just any label, but a brand that is consistently eco-friendly, ethical and designed to last. The collections are made from high quality eco-materials such as organic cotton or ECONYL®, a regenerated nylon made from plastic waste such as fishing nets or carpets. Production within Europe ensures short transport routes and transparent working conditions, for example in the women-run production facilities in Croatia.
