The importance of menstrual hygiene

As you may already know, MYMARINI was founded by a woman without any investors. As you can imagine, it was extra tough to do it all alone. But years later, here we are. Now we have the ability to support projects which support communities, women and help raise awareness.

Since we have many women in our team, menstruation is part of our life.
For some women, menstruation is still a time of shame and exclusion from daily life. When girls and women do not have access to menstrual hygiene products, they use rags or cloth instead, which is far from hygienic.

This is why we donated 1.000€ to the eva project. They provide women in Uganda with menstrual cups and educate them about it.
